This cartoon of R K Laxman was published on 14th December 1958 in The Times of India and surprisingly it still holds relevance after Fifty years. The only difference is that in those days it brought a smile on the face of Patriots, but today it’s a shame. Because our National Language is losing its prominence with the passing of years, as English language & culture has become the trend and necessity of modern India
